Editorial policy

Eastern Lifestyle Hub aims to describe customs and lifestyle choices accurately, in context and without presenting one account as universal. Our editors distinguish explanation from opinion and keep the scope of each piece clear.

Accuracy and context

We check names, terms and factual details before publication, and we take care with translations and regional distinctions. Articles should make clear when a practice is associated with a particular context rather than shared everywhere. We do not invent quotations, experiences or sources. Readers can use the Contact page to flag an error; we review substantiated corrections and update the relevant material with a clear note when appropriate.

Editorial independence

Editorial decisions are made for reader interest and fit with our subject, not as a promise of favourable coverage. A partner does not approve or control an independent editorial article. We keep commercial arrangements distinct from editorial judgement and disclose relevant relationships where they affect published material.

Partner material

Paid, gifted or otherwise arranged material is labelled clearly so readers can tell its nature. Partner placements are not presented as independent editorial recommendations. We do not imply that an arrangement is an endorsement of every product, service or claim connected with a partner.

Images and illustration

Illustrations may be commissioned, licensed or generated with AI. Where an AI-generated illustration is used, we label it accordingly. Illustrative images are not evidence that a pictured person, event or custom is real, and we avoid captions that suggest they are documentary records.
